E1027 Adjustable Table

Eileen Gray — ClassiCon, Germany (licensed production)

Eileen Gray's adjustable E 1027 table combines a circular glass top with a fine tubular frame and a practical range of heights.

Designed alongside E.1027

Gray created the table in 1927 in connection with her house E.1027 on the French Riviera. It reflects her attention to everyday use as part of a wider interior.

An open, adjustable structure

A metal ring holds the glass top, with a side support and open base beneath. Height adjustment allows different uses; follow the instructions to secure the mechanism correctly.

Beside a chair or bed

Check that the base fits around or beneath the intended furniture and remains stable. Glass and metal sit easily alongside wood or upholstery. Keeping the top lightly furnished preserves both its useful surface and open outline.
